Emily Bowman

Emily Bowman has over 20 years’ experience in providing marketing, public relations and advertising services. In 2006 she moved from Sydney to Barraba where, together with her husband, she runs a successful cattle grazing business and she is an active member of the local rural community.

Originally from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Emily completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University and she has worked for a number of high profile Advertising Agencies including Singleton Ogilvy Mather, DDB Rapp Collins and The Marketing Group of Companies.

During this time she was involved in managing all aspects of a brand’s development, 
working with clients such as Telstra, Qantas, AGL, Nestle’ and Sanyo. She developed the expertise required to create communication strategies which align with an organisation’s strategic plan, executing large national campaigns across multiple channels including print, online and social media.

Since moving to the region, Emily has worked for a number of local businesses in Tamworth including Centreboard Media and Sefton & Associates, taking up the position of Communications Manager at 360 Group (360 Fitness Club and Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar) in 2015.

Emily has always been a dedicated community member and she has been involved in a 
number of committees and volunteer organisations including:

Angela Brown


Angela Brown

Angela was born and raised in Tamworth, and following school, left to study design in Sydney.

She began her career as a graphic designer for some of Sydney's best known cultural institutions including: Sydney Opera House and the Australian Museum, in exhibition, publicity and public design roles.

After 18 years away, she returned to Tamworth in 2000 with husband Nicholas

After taking time off to raise their family, Angela began studying Horticulture and Landscape Design, working alongside Nicholas on a range of residential, commercial and urban landscape projects. Their company, Studio Two Architecture and Design Pty Ltd, was established in 2010.

Currently their business employees five people and is committed to recruiting and training local people. They value the network of Small Medium Enterprise supports available in this region, in which they continue to develop their business acumen.

Angela is committed to the Tamworth region and has been involved with various community groups including: Tamworth Conservatorium of Music, Tamworth Musical Society, Australian Garden History Society, NSW Coeliac Society (Area Contact Person), Local school communities, and various local organising committees such as for Carols in the Park.

She loves our regional natural environment also, particularly working with native plants to create outdoor spaces that place buildings within their natural settings.

Angela is excited by the growth and opportunities in the Tamworth region and has enjoyed the challenges of growing their business in this stimulating environment - in which the future is looking very bright.

Stephanie Cameron


Stephanie Cameron

Steph is a qualified scientist who graduated from the University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biological and Chemical Technologies in 1996. Since then Steph has gone on to become the business operations manager, director and co-owner of East West a local company based in Tamworth. East West is a National Association Testing Authority accredited lab for testing soils for geotechnical, 
environmental and agricultural purposes. East West also performs concrete, aggregate, plant, compost, manure, grain and water testing as well as contaminated site investigations. The East West business grew from Stephanie's desire to provide a soil and water testing facility in the Tamworth region, reducing the need for local businesses to send their sample's to metropolitan centres, and in turn, creating employment and skills opportunities locally.

Stephanie's vision for the future of her business is to become self-sufficient, allowing 
growth and focus on social responsibility. Passionate about her community and the 
environment Steph is actively involved in several community projects and groups. She is a founding member of the Tamworth Urban Landcare Group, Treasurer of both Tamworth Regional Landcare Association and Tamworth Club of Zonta, Chair of both New England North West Landcare Network Chairs and the Sustainable Northwest program, and she is the region’s representative and Deputy Chair of Executive NSW Landcare Committee.

Through her business, Steph has won Business Leader for 2015 at the New England 
North West Business Chamber awards and went on to represent the region at the State Business Chamber Awards in Sydney. In March 2016 Steph was awarded the Local Women of the Year for Tamworth NSW and in 2017 finalist in Regional Women of the Year Category in the NSW parliament.

Sara Crowe


SARA CROWE
DIRECTOR, C7EVEN COMMUNICATIONS

Sara is an owner and Director of C7EVEN Communications, a public relations, marketing, and event management agency with offices in Tamworth and Sydney NSW. Together with her business partner Adam Arndell, Sara started C7EVEN communications to connect organisations, government agencies and individuals with their audiences in real and meaningful ways and her interest in continuing to serve on the Board of the Tamworth Business Chamber is the same.

Sara has a passion for helping businesses achieve their goals and is proud of the marketing and communications strategies and work she has contributed to the chamber to date and hopes to build on this in 2018 to provide members with even more benefits.

Before establishing C7EVEN Communications, Sara held various in-house communication positions for national organisations including The Law Council of Australia and The Pharmacy Guild of Australia as well as the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. In 2011, Sara was awarded a National Australia Day Medal, by the then Prime Minister in recognition of her role with the Department in the delivery of an extraordinary number of Guest of Government visits and events.

In 2012, Sara and her husband decided to move to Tamworth so that he could work in his family business. Sara never thought she would end up a business owner here herself, and now can’t imagine a better place for it or a better place to raise their family. With technology being able to provide access to people and markets that weren’t available before, she believes the opportunities are endless for local businesses here in Tamworth.

Since moving to Tamworth, Sara has developed and implemented successful communication campaigns for a range of clients from local businesses to corporate agribusinesses and has worked closely with the Tamworth Regional Council managing the Public Relations program for the Toyota Country Music Festival in 2015/16 & 17 achieving unprecedented results. Sara was also involved in the development of the Tamworth Region Visitors Guide and Community Strategic Plan. She has served on the Board of the Tamworth Business Chamber and the committee for the Tamworth Junior 
Chamber. She was also involved in the very rewarding Youth Frontiers program and Young Business Persons Mentoring Program as a mentor. Aside from her professional experience, Sara is a mum, a wife, a ratepayer and a Chamber member and understands the intricate wants and needs of similar people.

Sara holds a Bachelor Communications (Public Relations) and is currently studying for a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and if successful would continue to utilise her experience and expertise to  assist Chamber and it’s members identify new ways to promote the work they do and connect with their audiences.

Mark has lived in Tamworth all his life and is happily married to Jane with 4 children.
Mark has been involved with the Motor Vehicle Industry since 1984. As Dealer 
Principal, he is a fourth generation successor in the motor trade, at Woodley’s 
Motors in Tamworth.

Woodley’s Motors is a large Motor Vehicle Dealership that sells and services new & 
pre-owned motor vehicles. It was established in 1919. It is located in Tamworth
NSW, one of the largest and fastest growing regional Cities in Australia.
