About the Quality Business Awards

In its 40th year, the Quality Business Awards was Tamworth’s highly trusted awards program that recognised the many business success stories throughout the region. The Quality Business Awards culminated in a gala night held at TRECC on Friday, 6 September, and was attended by over 800 people from all corners of the business community. From Nundle to Tamworth, Attunga to Barraba, any business throughout the region could be nominated or self-nominate across 29 business categories.

The community was also encouraged to reward their favorite business with a nomination and to vote in the People’s Choice Award once finalists were announced.

What were the categories?

There were a total of 27 award categories to which businesses could nominate or be nominated for. Each had a clear definition and criteria to ensure a level playing field for all entrants. The list could be viewed and downloaded below.

‍Who judged the Awards?

Over 50 professional judges were recruited from a range of industries to ensure a robust and transparent judging process was undertaken for every entry.

Gala Dinner

Recognised as the largest business awards program in Regional Australia, winners were announced at the Gala Dinner at TRECC on Friday, 6 September 2024.
