Categories for Excellence in Customer Service are as follows. These are the categories that your customers have nominated you for and you have until 30 June to accept this nomination.

NSW BUSINESS CHAMBER ALIGNED CATEGORIES

These categories can only be entered by the business via the online portal by 30 June

Excellence in Micro Business (up to 5 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) employees)

to be eligible for this award the business must employ up to 5 FTE employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff, and have been trading for a period of two years or more, not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.

Excellence in Small Business (5 to 20FTE) employees:

to be eligible for this award     the business must employ less between (5 to 20 FTE) employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff, and have been trading for a period of two years or more, not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.

Excellence in Business (+21 or more employees):

to be eligible for this award the business must employ 21 or more FTE employees on payroll in Australia such as contractors, casuals and labour hire staff, and have been trading for a period of two years or more, not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.

Excellence in Social Enterprise:

to be eligible for this award, the organisation must have: been trading for a continuous period of two years or more, not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry, must not have not entered into the categories of Excellence in Small Business and Excellence in Business in 2018, must be driven by a public or community cause, be it social, environmental, cultural or economic, the majority of its income must be from trade, NOT donations or grants and use the majority (at least 50%) of its profits to work towards its social mission.

Start Up Superstar:

to be eligible for this award the business must have been trading for a continuous period of less than two years, not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry, must not have been purchased or acquired and not be a part of a franchise.

Excellence in Innovation:

to be eligible for this award the business must have been trading for a period of two years or more, and not be bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.

Outstanding Employer of Choice:

to be eligible for this award the business must have been trading for a period of two years or more, and not be bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.

Outstanding Young Employee (aged between 18-30 years at time of entry).

to be eligible for this award the individual must have been employed by their current employer for a minimum of 18 months at the time of entry, and not be a NSW Business Chamber Staff Member, Regional Advisory Councillor, State Councillor or Board Member (not Awarded at State, ONLY awarded at a Regional level).

Outstanding Young Entrepreneur (aged between 18-30 years at time of entry).

The Outstanding Young Entrepreneur award recognises an inspirational young person aged between 18-30 years who, through their own commitment and passion, owns or part owns a successful business. This award recognises young business people who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, strategic direction and innovative ideas whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming young business people. NSW Business Chamber Staff, Regional Advisory Councillors, State Councillors or Board Members are not eligible.

Outstanding Business Leader (aged 36 years and over at the time of entry).

to be eligible for this award the individual must not be a NSW Business Chamber Staff Member, Regional Advisory Councillor, State Councillor or Board Member.
