ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Dr John Anderson (Senior Lecturer – UNE Business School)
Dr John A Anderson holds a Bachelor of Finance Administration, a Master of Business by Research and a PhD in Finance and is currently Senior Lecturer in Finance at The University of New England. Prior to joining academia, he was a Floor Trader and Local Member of the Sydney Futures Exchange, worked as a Treasury Dealer in interest rate products and derivatives and also served as Futures and Derivatives Specialist with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). He has consulted extensively to numerous major Australian and International Financial Institutions in addition to holding international board positions in the funds management sector.
Bryan Coleman (Director and Finance Broker – Priority Home Loans)
Bryan along with his wife Lorraine head up Priority in Tamworth and Newcastle. From his early twenties, Bryan has worked in the Financial Services Sector and studied Accounting. He spent much of this in managerial roles with a large corporate finance company in Sydney. Through his many years of experience, Bryan can claim to be well versed in all facets of residential, leasing, business and commercial loans and his accounting background is an asset to the Priority team.
Jane Ryan (Principal Advisor – Fox Wealth Advisory)
Jane holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. Jane is an experienced Senior Financial Planner with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry. She is skilled in portfolio management, financial risk, business relationship management, risk management, and banking.
Rebecca Roach (Director – Roach Morgan-Jones)
Rebecca has over 17 years local experience as a public practice accountant and CPA. With extensive knowledge in all taxation, accounting and business advisory matters, Rebecca was inspired to start her own practice, Key Business Advisory, based on personal, professional and timely advice to her clients. Rebecca has now started Roach Morgan-Jones, the merger of local accountancy firms Morgan–Jones & Co and Key Business Advisory.
