Bakers Delight Tamworth Shoppingworld has been operating on Tamworth since September 1994.

In February of 2001 I commenced my apprenticeship in the Baking industry and purchased our Bakery in December of 2012.

We currently operate 7 days per week, 359 days per year and strive to deliver the freshest baked bread products to the Tamworth community.

As with all business we are nothing without our Team and our loyal customer base. Our team currently consists of 16 employees, ranging from Nan's, Mums and Dads all the way down to school aged kids earning valuable experience with their first ever 'after school' job.

Since taking ownership of the business we have trained and assisted 11 young people with  obtaining their Baking Trade qualification in the industry.Something for an industry with a 'critical skills shortage' that is vital to maintaining long term success for the industry within Australia.

Something that we rarely seek recognition for but are internally, very proud of, is our support and daily donations to local charity organisations and the partnerships we have forged with them. Ranging from Meals on Wheels, the Salvation army, various primary and high school Breakfast Club programs, Homes North, the Tamworth Cancer Council and numerous local farming families doing it tough in times of drought.

For us operating a Business within the local Tamworth community isn't always about profit margins, sales volumes and budgets. It is about supporting our Team and the community in every way possible. Because without their support and commitment we wouldn't have been able to stay operational and successful for the last (almost) 30 years.
