Dear Members,
As I take on the role of President of the Tamworth Business Chamber, we’re excited to continue our strategic direction with a renewed focus on advocating for local businesses. Our chamber has always been a strong supporter and catalyst for our members, and we’re committed to building on this foundation.
I'm pleased to welcome new board members: Mary Ryan Garnett joins us as Treasurer, and we also welcome Caroline Lumley and Simon Walden to our board. I'm also delighted to announce Martin Howes as our new Vice President and am excited to work with him. Our diverse board includes members from banking, hospitality, technology, retail, manufacturing, events, and communications, offering a broad spectrum of insights into local business.
I want to extend a sincere thank you to outgoing President Matthew Sweeney for his dedicated service and leadership during his tenure. His contributions have set a solid foundation for our chamber's future success. I also wish to acknowledge Llewelyn Owens, who has retired from the board. Llewelyn's insights have been invaluable, and we are grateful for his service.
In the months ahead, we encourage all members to engage with us actively, share your ideas, and let us know how we can best support you.
Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to the Tamworth Business Chamber. Let's work together to strengthen our local business community for a prosperous future.
