As we close out another month, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on one of the highlights of the month, which was our Business After 5pm event at Commonwealth Bank last Wednesday, 26th March 2025. It was a privilege to partner with Commonwealth Bank to provide an insightful evening focused on financial growth and business development. A huge thank you to Branch Manager, Mathew Wilkinson, and the team at Commonwealth Bank for their generosity in hosting us and for sharing their expertise with us.
The event was well-attended, with over 70 local professionals registering & joining us for a great night of networking. The discussions around the budget and economic trends provided valuable insights that many attendees found incredibly beneficial.
If you would like to learn about how your business can connect with Commonwealth Bank, Tamworth, please contact the team on 02 5719 0011 or visit the branch at 445/447 Peel Street, Tamworth.
At the event, we shone the Member Spotlight on Dean Clark - Owner of Clarke's Heavy Vehicle licensing who has recently opened his business in Tamworth.

Owned and operated by Dean, an Australian award-winning heavy vehicle driver trainer who specializes in high-quality, practical training for truck licences (all classes), forklift licences, and dangerous goods driver licences.

March was a busy month for Chamber Connect. We continued to strengthen relationships with our members, gaining feedback on the types of events and resources that would be most beneficial moving forward. We are actively working on creating more events, so watch this space!
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that our next Business After 5pm event will be hosted by The Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum on April 30th. This unique venue houses a world-class collection of vintage and modern motorcycles, making it the perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and business discussions. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s impressive display while engaging with fellow professionals in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
I encourage all members to stay engaged, attend upcoming events, and continue building strong connections within our business community. Your participation and input are what make Chamber Connect such a valuable initiative. Please make sure to register your attendance for the Business After 5pm events, as limited spots are available, securing your place in advance guarantees access to a fabulous evening.
A huge thank you to our committee members for their ongoing dedication and hard work. I look forward to seeing you all at our next event!
Thank you!
