The Southwell Property Business After Five (BA5) event was a hit! Bringing together local business leaders and Chamber members for an evening of connection and celebration. Hosted by Stuart and Brooke Southwell at their recently renovated offices, we were treated to a fantastic presentation on the founding and growth of their small business.
Stuart shared valuable insights into their journey, acknowledging the local contractors and collaborators who helped bring their vision to life. It was an inspiring reminder of the strength and potential within our local business community.
The evening also featured Chamber updates, including a recap of the AGM, a review of 2024 achievements, and exciting plans for the year ahead. We were thrilled to welcome new members, including APG Workforce, Lifeline NENW, and several others, further strengthening our network.
In the member news segment, Connecting with Bricks shared the success of their innovative School Brick Pit program, aimed at fostering teamwork and creativity in rural schools. This sparked excitement for their upcoming Lego Serious Play team-building workshops for businesses in 2025.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Chamber Connect Kick Start Program, offering grants and support to young entrepreneurs and start-ups - a true investment in Tamworth’s future.
We extend our gratitude to Southwell Property for hosting this vibrant event and to all who attended. Mark your calendars for our next BA5 on February 26th at UNE Tamworth..
Let’s continue fostering collaboration and growth throughout our local business community!
